Skillanation: Sports Management Education
Skillanation is our premier sports education initiative, offering University of Mumbai-recognized sports management programs. In partnership with WIFA (Western India Football Association) and Patkar Varde College, we deliver undergraduate and postgraduate programs that produce industry-ready sports professionals. Curricula cover sports marketing, event management, analytics, law, and more, blending classroom learning with hands-on internships at clubs, leagues, and sports businesses. Through Skillanation, over 300 students have gained accredited degrees and direct entry into India’s growing sports industry.
Wellness Galaxy – Corporate & School Wellness
Wellness Galaxy is our wellness and health promotion vertical, delivering tailored programs to corporations, schools, and communities in India and the UAE. We design holistic wellness programs encompassing physical fitness, mental health, nutrition, and work-life balance, that create measurable impact on productivity and morale. Notable clients include Galaxy Surfactants, House of Anita Dongre, and Boehringer Ingelheim, where our initiatives have reduced health risk factors and improved employee engagement. From on-site workshops to digital wellness challenges, Wellness Galaxy ensures that wellness becomes a lifestyle. Professional Workshops & Certifications
Actingwood offers short-term professional development workshops and certification programs to upskill the sports and corporate workforce. These intensive programs, often conducted with expert partners, focus on high-demand skills: for example, Strength & Conditioning Certification for fitness trainers, Sports Event Management workshops for aspiring event directors, and POSH Compliance Training (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) for organizations to foster safe workplaces. Each workshop blends theory with practical assignments. Participants not only earn valuable certifications but also gain mentorship from industry veterans. Sports & Business Consultancy
Through our consultancy services, Actingwood provides strategic advisory in sports and business domains. We work with sports federations, educational institutions, and companies to develop projects and strategies that leverage our unique expertise at the intersection of sports, education, and wellness. Our consulting engagements range from advising state associations on grassroots development models, to helping startups in sports-tech refine their go-to-market strategy, to guiding corporates on integrating sports and wellness into CSR initiatives. Athlete Representation & Talent Management
Actingwood is proud to represent select high-potential athletes, providing them with 360° career management. Our marquee talent is Tanya Hemanth, a rising badminton star currently ranked among the world’s top 60 (BWF women’s singles #53). We support our athletes with training resources, sponsorships, branding, and international exposure. From securing professional coaching and nutrition guidance to handling media and endorsement deals, we ensure our athletes can focus on performance while we manage the rest. Indian Collegiate Start-up Week (ICSW)
The Indian Collegiate Start-up Week is an annual student entrepreneurship festival co-created by Actingwood in association with MIDC (Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation). Hosted on leading college campuses (such as Patkar Varde College, Mumbai), ICSW is a week-long extravaganza of innovation, competition, and learning. It features startup pitch contests, tech workshops (AI, robotics, etc.), keynote talks by industry leaders, and networking sessions with investors. By fostering an entrepreneurial mindset among college students, ICSW has catalyzed numerous campus startups and skill development in business planning, teamwork, and creative problem-solving. Actingwood’s role includes event conceptualization, program curation, and bringing on board mentors and partners. ICSW exemplifies our commitment to empowering youth beyond sports – nurturing future business leaders and innovators.
Actingwood Films – Media Production
Actingwood Films is our in-house media and content production unit. We produce short films, documentaries, and podcasts that tell powerful stories and drive positive change. Our content spans sports, wellness, education, and leadership themes; from profiling inspiring athlete journeys to creating instructional videos for our training programs. We handle end-to-end production: scripting, filming, editing, and distribution across digital platforms. This vertical also takes on client projects: for example, creating corporate documentaries, event highlight reels, and promotional films that align with our expertise. Our podcasts feature interviews with experts and changemakers, amplifying knowledge and inspiration for our community. Through Actingwood Films, we ensure our message and the voices of our partners reach a global audience in a compelling way.
Education Consulting (Curriculum Design)
In the education sector, Actingwood provides consulting services for curriculum design and program development. We partner with schools, colleges, and universities to create or enhance courses related to sports management, physical education, and wellness. Our experts have helped design curricula that meet international standards ; for example, integrating sports technology and data analytics modules into management programs, or introducing life skills and leadership training into school sports curricula. We emphasize experiential learning and industry alignment: ensuring that educational content stays relevant to real-world opportunities. Additionally, we offer faculty training and resource development so that institutions can deliver these innovative programs effectively. Student-Led Sports & Award Events
Actingwood strongly believes in youth leadership. We mentor and facilitate student-led sports events and award ceremonies that give young individuals hands-on experience in event management and community building. Whether it’s a university hosting an inter-collegiate sports tournament or a youth organization planning an annual sports awards night, our team provides the backbone support while students take the lead. We guide them in planning, sponsorship outreach, operations, and promotion. This approach has resulted in highly successful events – from college football leagues attracting thousands of spectators to award functions recognizing local sports talent. AIFF Masters Program (Former)
Actingwood played a key role in the AIFF Masters program – India’s first international football management postgraduate diploma, run in partnership with the All India Football Federation. Launched in 2019-20, this one-year Master’s program was conducted across three cities (Delhi, Mumbai, and Cádiz in Spain) in collaboration with Cádiz CF. As an implementation partner, Actingwood helped design the curriculum, coordinate international modules, and deliver industry exposure to students. The program offered comprehensive training in football management, including courses in marketing, policy, stadium operations, and international study tours. The joint convocation in 2022 saw graduates who are now contributing to various football clubs and organizations. While the AIFF Masters was a time-bound initiative, it showcases Actingwood’s ability to execute large-scale educational programs at global standards, and our ongoing relationships with national federations and European clubs.
Leadership & Wellness Retreats
In line with our wellness and personal development ethos, Actingwood is introducing exclusive Leadership & Wellness Retreats. These monthly retreats, limited to select participants, are immersive detox programs set in tranquil locations. Over a long weekend, attendees (young professionals, entrepreneurs, or athletes) disconnect from digital noise and focus on self-improvement and holistic well-being. Each retreat blends physical activities (guided yoga, nature hikes, fitness sessions) with leadership workshops (goal setting, team-building exercises, mindfulness training). Nutritionists curate detox diets while executive coaches facilitate reflection sessions, enabling participants to return recharged with clear minds and actionable personal growth plans. The intimate group size ensures personalized attention and a tight-knit peer network.
